C.A. Wolcott grew up serving alongside his parents with short-term mission teams to Juarez, Mexico.
With those teams, he had numerous unique experiences in dealing with spiritual forces that provided for
key plot points. He also learned to use the sport of fencing to teach practical life lessons and dreams of
starting a fencing club where he can teach those lessons in the context of the sport. While growing up,
C.A. experienced moderate physical and learning disabilities that made many wonder how he could
function in society as an adult, but he overcame them all with courage, determination, and God’s
guidance. All his experiences laid a rich foundation for the writing of The Battle Cry Saga. C.A. graduated
from the University of Texas at El Paso with a degree in Computer Science and is certified to teach both
math and physics in Texas. A weekly blogger for Worldview Warriors (www.worldviewwarriors.org), a
ministry that teaches biblical foundations and principles to this next generation, C.A. has great passion
and natural skill to work with youth. A talented writer, he is also a speaker for the Colorado Christian
Writers Conference. Originally from Lafayette, Colorado, he now makes his home in El Paso, Texas.
