Connie Lounsbury’s published books include: Kathleen Creek (OakTara), Eyes of Hope, Caring for Orphans and Widows in Africa; Thrift Store Shoes; Heaven Is Near When a Child Dies; Reaching Past the Wire: A Nurse at Abu Ghraib; and Quit Your Job and Make Ends Meet. She is a frequent contributor to Guideposts magazines and books and has had 31 short stories published. Her work has won numerous writing awards, including first place in the inspirational category of the Writer’s Digest Writing Competition in 2001. Connie also speaks for Stonecroft Ministries, as well as for many other venues on a variety of topics, and is involved in prison ministry at Sandstone Federal Prison. Connie lives in rural Monticello, Minnesota, with her husband, David. They have four daughters, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
