Lynda J. Crim
Lynda J. Crim has had a passion for writing since she was in elementary school, creating imaginative stories for class assignments. As a teacher of emotionally disturbed children and adolescents for over 25 years, her writing focused on short stories to enhance specific skills for reluctant readers within her classes. In recent years, Lynda developed and wrote alternative education programs and grants, and charter school applications, planning and implementation grants and curriculum, as well as various other educational and social skills programming.
The story of Lydia and the Basketball Baby series has been jelling in Lynda’s heart and mind for many years. Working with “at risk” children for all of her professional life, she has heard many devastating stories of the havoc wracked on families searching, but not always finding, answers to life’s problems. It is her heartfelt prayer that Lydia will be a springboard to inspire others to place God and their families foremost in their lives.
